With the rise of social media and the ability for a company to connect to consumers on a one-on-one basis, it’s more important now more than ever that companies are adopting a customer-centric approach in order to succeed among your competition.

In many areas of the industry, the focus is being taken away from the product and placed on the customers themselves. This means IT professionals need a greater understanding of social networks and improved customer service knowledge.

#5 – Device Safety

Consider how many devices and accounts the average employee can use to log into their workplace online from anywhere in the world. This includes computers, email servers, cloud servers, mobile devices, and tablets.

This means that hackers have more opportunities than ever before to get hold of private and sensitive information, which is why IT pros and businesses to be providing proper IT training.
