I. What Is PMP?

PMP is the qualification certification of project managers in more than 190 countries and regions around the world by PMI. The initial examination fee of PMP is USD 605.9 and the re-examination fee is USD 388.4.

IV. What’s The Exam Time?

There is four examination time in a year, which are on a Saturday in March, June, September, and December. The examination time in 2020 is March 15, 2020, June 6, 2020, September 5, 2020, and December 5, 2020. The examination in September 2020 has been postponed. Please refer to the notice for details!

V. How Long Does The Exam Take?

It’s four hours from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm.

VI. How long after The PMP Exam Can You Check The Results?

4-6 weeks after the exam you can log on PMI website to see whether you have passed the test.

VII. What Is The Type of Examination and Question? What’s The Score?

In mainland China, all the examinations are written examinations; PMP formal examination questions are 200 single choice questions, with a total score of 200 points.

VIII. What Is PMBOK?

PMBOK is an official teaching material for PMP certified examination proposed by PMI. The International Standards Organization (ISO) has formulated the ISO10006 standard based on PMBOK. The standards are unified and shared all over the world. PMBOK book contains five process groups (start-up, planning, implementation, monitoring, and closing) and ten knowledge areas (scope management, time management, quality management, cost management, human resource management, communication management, risk management, procurement management, integration management, and stakeholder management). The PMP-certified examination is based on PMBOK.
