somehow, I removed advertisement banner but there is next problem now,
Menu bar doesn’t show (hover) green color when other than home page is open . plz help.

First, wanted to say this is an amazing theme!

Going to your preview site, I noticed the menubar does not change as the user scrolls from page-to-page. The first menu-bar item is highlighted for the default/home page, but none of the others appear to be. I’m using Firefox 3.6 — is it an issue with this browser, or another problem with this theme?

Also – contact me directly (off site) if you do economic contract work.

Thank you in advance ,

I just verified the menu-bar page is not highlighted in MSIE either.

“Home” is the only page that gets highlighted. None of the others work.

Hi mike

Great work & never saw such a complete thing for my websites. Anyway I am confused b/w your keko & vibrant tech. Can we have some mixture of both with theme options? I would be willing to donate some in case I find a nice reason to do that. Plz get me keko with top four feature boxes of vibrant tech. This would suffice. Can you do that for me?

So after playing around with the theme, I must say I love it. However, when i attempt to open my site in IE (7.0.57) I get an error with no description. The only thing I have been able to find thus far is that IE is complaining about a Keko/none folder not being found. Any one else having this issue?

Hi. Micheal thanks for your great hard work.. well i just wanna know that is it possible to put my logo instead of title text.? so i wanna remove the site name and wanna put my logo.

Hi Michael!

I truly appreciate you giving out this theme for free, it’s clean and simple but very elegant.

I would just like to know if it is possible to have a drop down menu for the child pages under the main menu bar.

Please teach us how to do it. Thanks!

I feel dumb not being able to solve this out on my own, but I can’t figure out how to get rid of the image that shows up next to your post when you click on a category. Where can I locate the source code for it?

Hey there I simply wanted to drop by and say cheers for the data on this page. I wound up on your weblog after searching for physical fitness related things on Yahoo… guess I managed to get kinda distracted! Anyways, thank you and I will try and swing in down the road and read some of your future remarks. Cheers!

First of all, thanks for sharing this great theme.

I would like to use this theme and i insist to remove the header image. So, how i can remove it? Does anyone know how to remove it?

I have always problems with the search again…
I uploaded your theme and it worked once. Then I had to reupload everything and now it aint working anymore.
I always get a 404 page:
It says: “You just encounter our 404 error page”
How can I fix that??? I’m despairing!

By the way I’m using wp 3.0, the theme is compatible with it right?!?

Hope you can get me an answer soon.

I almost got the problem figured out.

When I enter a searchrequest this url appears:
(this time I was looking for the term “testsearch”)

If I add manually a slash (/) into this url (before the question mark) I can get the search to work properly:

How can I manage it to let the page insert a slash automatically??

(By the way, besides this little problems, your theme is awesome!! Thats also why I’m waisting so much time with all this wordpress-problems.. =) )

I got it working, although I don’t really understand anything of the coding:

the beginning of the searchform.php is:

instead of

<form method="get" action="”>

now the search works so far.. perhaps I will encounter further problems because of this…

perhaps you know more about this issue?

thx n greetings

I just realized that if I’m using the searchform when my current page is a static-page (like the impressum) it doesn’t work anymore.

because then the url appearing looks like this:

and it would only work with

(without the path leading to ‘impressum’).

Now I haven’t got a clue how to solve this. I hope you can help me…

I had the same error, and it have a very easy fix.

Go to ->searchform.php (in the theme directory)

Replace with the following lines

<form method="get" action="”>

<input name="x" type="image" class="submit" src="/images/s.png” alt=”search” />

Good luck!!!

Congratulations for the beautiful theme!
I have a question: I’m trying to translate some parts of Keko for the Portuguese language, however, can not change the words “Most Commented,” “Random Articles” and “Recently in category” at the footer.php. This is because the footer.php is encrypted. How to only translate those words?

hi, thank you for the beautiful theme and i am very happy with it. i have a little problem. i wanted to insert some code from mgid into the theme and as per mgid says it must be before the end body tag and unfortunately i couldn’t find a tag in any file in your theme. could you please help me a little.

thanks and regards,
Kaleem Akhter.

I’ve been using this theme for some time and love it. What would just put it over the top is to see a magazine style theme based on the same design elements. Would you ever consider such a project?

Hi man , you are a little idiot because you are codding footer in this theme and put there 3 commercial links , i remake footer and clean your links , and because you so smart i suppose to delete and link for “Free WordPress Theme By Mkels”. So if you try cheat us we will go around you ! he !

Hey! Great theme, I’ve just started using it. The only problem I have is that none of the links for the articles that appear in the footer under “random articles” and “recent articles” work. They aren’t links at all and I can’t click on them. Is it meant to be like this?

Hello, I am loving the theme. Great work! Just a quick question though. How do I get rid of all the things on the right side (Advertisements, Categories, Popular Tags, etc.)? Also the drop down thing for the parent to child page does not show the child show.

hello, i,m a uyghur man, my english iz bad. i want to ask you one thing, why my keko theme’s searchform is bad, it can’t use by me.. i think it’s because of theme’s code have some Problem, what’s that i need to do.. give me a answer ,please, thank you for your theme, i am like it… waiting your e-mail ,thanks again… my e-mail:

Search form not working due to slight error in the searchform.php file.

Look for: [ERROR]
<form method="get" action="”>

This needs to be replaced by: [FIX]
<form method="get" action="”>

Now works…

I’ve heard about this really nice theme through a user submission at my “RTL” tutorials site.
I RTLed it if it’s okay with you(I checked the license) here.
Would this encourage you to add RTL support to your future themes? They’re pretty amazing and it would be a amazing if all of them have RTL support.
Have a great day!

hey why can’t i see all the tags that I, for example, put on a single post? you’ll only see a couple of tags, which are the first 2 or 3 tags. how can i fix it. please reply. thanks.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for sharing this really cool WP theme.

I’m pretty much new to WordPress and I’m wondering if it’s possible to edit this theme to have a “categories” menu on the top menu (where you have Home – About – Archives – Development – Links – Parant Page ) ??

I’m looking to use this template but be able to use it for a site where there will be lots of different pages/posts on different subjects that people can begin to browse from the top horizontal menu.

Many thanks,

This theme is very wonderful!
I have some questions.

I would like to disable “RSS Feeds” and “Advertisement”

Q2. “page”
I create about 6 “pages”, but only 4 of 6 are reflected on top pages.
Other 2 pages are not reflected.
How do I reflect those 2 pages?

Q3. “Categories”
My Word-Press is used a plugin called “Collapsing Categories”for side bar.
It’s very popular.I love this plugin as well as this theme..
After I integrate this plugin to this Keko Theme, the the wide of this side bar is not matched.
Would you please let me know how to match.

Sorry for posting again.
My current version is the latest. (ver 1.0.4)
Search function is not working yet.

Here is the original “searchform.php”

<input name="x" type="image" class="submit" src="/images/s.png” alt=”search” />

==To HERE==

So I change the 2 line to below.

It works, but the format of the website is broken…
I think it’s very almost.
Could you please advice me how to fix it?
